A Dust Rider is a purpose-built e-bike designed specifically for Burning Man — built for dust conditions, long playa distances, and reliable camp mobility.

If you’re already considering booking, you’re at the stage where most of our riders come through referrals, camp partnerships, or direct introductions within established Burning Man communities.

We’ve already been vetted and worked with multiple established camp leaders and affiliated groups on playa, which is how most riders end up here in the first place.

This isn’t a random storefront — it’s a camp-connected supply system built specifically for Burning Man logistics and on-playa delivery.

You can choose between:

• Buy (own your bike)

• Rent (use it for the event)

Both options allow either:

• Full payment upfront

• Or a non-refundable reservation deposit + remaining balance due 2 weeks before the burn

If you reserve with a deposit, you’ll receive a payment link for the remaining balance closer to the event.
Reminder emails/messages are sent before the due date.

If the final balance is not paid on time, your reservation may be canceled and your bike may be released to someone else.

• Delivered directly to affiliated camps on playa during Burning Man

We deliver your Dust Rider directly to your camp so it’s ready when you arrive. No pickup lines, no transport stress — just ride-ready on arrival.

Yes — you can make it your own.

If you’re renting, you can add lights, flags, reflective tape, and other decorations that fit the playa vibe, as long as nothing is permanently attached, drilled, glued, or damages the bike in any way. Everything must be fully removable so the bike returns in the same condition it was given.

If you purchase a bike, it’s completely yours — modify it, rebuild it, or fully customize it however you want.

Yes, a yearly storage option is available for buyers who want to keep their bike between burns.

Yes, you can cancel your reservation at any time. However, the reservation deposit is non-refundable, as it covers holding and preparing your bike in advance.

If you have already paid in full (for either a rental or a purchase), you will be refunded the total amount minus the reservation deposit. This deposit is retained in all cases.
